+61 PM....212....Had the girls over today and we made chicken soup from some leftover chicken......Babysitting early in the morning for Rainee on weekends.....work has been busy with electrical repairs and plumbing issues......Roger is doing better.....Roxanne called and said he was off the ventilator but still getting kidney treatment.....did not see Tacey from wednesday till saturday night as she slept it all....still hoping I can get some sort of garden in if I can get the garden ready....seems like there is always something to throw me off track....summertime and the living is easy

+54 pm mc.....215.....back from Anchorage...went down to see Roger in the hospital....he is doing a little better....kidneys are still shut down....looks like he has pneumonia and a viral infection around his heart also....weather down there was very cool and rainy and it gets dark down there at night to....amazing what a few degrees of latitude will do for you....here is an interesting occupation in case silicon valley has got you down

+43 pm...207..day four.....weighed in this morning.....weight may be diiferent now as I was headed into town and I seen this black barbeque resturant was finally open with a tent in the parking lot and I have been waiting for it to open fo almost a year since tasting it last year during solstice celebrations and I stopped in and had some ribs.....yummmmmmm....then later I had a pork sandwich at Rainees that John had cooked.....but I am not going to give up on this quest for a little slip.....read that 80% of people that get their stomach stapled eventually gain the weight back.....which goes to prove if you have an eating problem even if you take drastic measures your mind will figure a way around the obstacles....so you have to conquer the mind first.....or maybe I can figure out how to make a 100 calorie BLT

+45 pm....209...day three of fast.....hunger pangs were relieved with a can of sardines....it would help if I didn't watch the Food Network.....Roger was medivacted to Anchorage for heart surgery as he had a heart attack....I will probably go down tomorrow.....hard time staying awake today.....Tacey is in foul mood as usual.....so much to do so much lack of energy to do it

+46 raining....210.....day two of self imposed fast.....don't really have any hunger pangs.....worked on the new subdivision devlopment running scraper with dad running the push cat.........Roger got put back in the hospital but I did not learn about it till late tonight so I coud not visit him....hope he makes it as he is a good bud....I am getting into the age bracket where people I know are dying because of advancement of age and all th associated diseases that come with it......I hope I never get imfirm or unable to take care of myself.....I don't want it to be my kids or anyone elses chore to wipe my butt.....I mean if you don't have quality of life then why bother.....no life support for me...no thanks......gather around my death bed let me tell my children and grandchildren how much I love them and how proud I am of them and then give me 100 ativan and let me go..... a done deal.....no guilt......no burden.....have a party on me and spread my ashes somewhere in Alaska

+56 pm.....218 grrrrrr......day one of my self imposed fast and so far so good......taking Jons advice and doing fiber and vitamins......hopefully this will see some results and I can get a handle on this if not then it is off to see a doctor for this just does not seem right.....brought rototiller up from the backyard so I can work on it.....time is getting short to get all the plants in the ground....days have been nice and hot and all the trees are leafed out......watched Monster Ball again....I like Billy Bob.....not to say Halle is not great.....still not sleepong worth a darn......I have to go till I literally drop from exhaustion for me to be able to sleep for any length of time and then it is only for two hours.....enough whining.....having the bathroom remodeled at the apartment....Jimmie got a friend of his to do it and he is doing a great job......will probably have to trade a gun to pay for it though and sell my soul.....money is still real tight.....giving up smoking before it is too late.....then again maybe it already is......just plodding along

+55 pm.....218 ugh.....very hot day here got up to 80 in the afternoon.....went to Kealeys graduation from kindergarten today.....watched Scream 3 at Rainees but we all fell asleep watching it.......must not be that good......busy building season here.....lots of chain stores going up..Lowes, Fred Meyers, Boston Garden, Chilis, Arbies......not too long and we will look like any other town in America .......since we now have a Walmart we have fallen prey to mega box stores......Time to move to Seward and enjoy the real Alaska again.....oh no I want to move to Meyers Chuck......what a place that is.secuded, picturesque, remote.....lots of fishing...close to nothing......well Ketchikan is 40 miles away and Seattle is a short trip from there......but do I want to live in a rain forest or a desert......must have internet access so back to Seward I go....and not just any old access....DSL or cable for this kid...I have been spoiled and there is no going back

+47 pm....213.....what day...just could not stay awake for the life of me.....did not get anything done.....made some cod for dinner......am I relegated to relating all the boring details of my life.....this laptop rocks.....should of moved to it a long time ago from the desktop......with all the wires coming from it though it looks like it is on life support....an ipod, laptop and a pickup truck life is good......Apple rules

+48 pm.....213 still.....Damn I have to post more often......can't remember what happened since I last posted so I will just march on with what is relevant.....changed over to my laptop as my primary computer and sort of retired the desktop....the desktop has been real slow and since it has only a 400 mhz processor and this has a 1 gig I guess it was overdue to move here.....bonus is I have two screeens now....also I only had a 20 gig harddrive on the desktop and this has a 60 gig and since I had only 4 gigs of space left music was becoming a problem along with photos.....more later
